With over 150 years of combined experience, we offer the best motorcycle training in the state of California. Most of our instructors have been riding for 30+ years and all take motorcycle safety to heart. We "live to ride" and strive to share our vast experience with our students. We have classes designed for those who are just learning to ride and we offer advanced classes for the seasoned riders who understand the value of lifelong learning. Learn to Ride VC places a high value on the importance of safety.

We perform regular maintenance on our fleet and our instructors are all trained in motorcycle safety procedures. What does this mean to you as our guest? You will receive the best training available and riding time. The more you ride, the more you learn. The quality of your training experience and your safety is what we are all about. I found out that Learn to Ride VC offers CHP CMSP MTC (Motorcyclist Training Course) classes which can get you a skills test waiver (DL389) and they also offer the CHP CMSP Total Control IRC (Intermediate Riding Clinic) and Total Control ARC (Advanced Riding Clinics) The classroom is located in a small industrial park off of Surfside Drive's North/South segment..."

"Took the beginner msc here and would definately recommend to anyone looking to get into motorcycling! I initially didn’t pass the skills test during my original class, but i was able to ride/practice the following week, retake my skills test and passed with flying colors! Larry was my instructor for both sessions and he was fun, funny and a great teacher!! I had Jose as an instructor for my 2nd class and he was really great at explaining the friction zone to me (which is what i struggled with the first go around) and how it differed from driving a car with manual transmission..."

"Suuuuuper informative and well laid out course, covering all the basics on what it takes to be a safe rider. Highly recommend before buying your first bike as this will be the perfect introduction and instill good habits before you have time to develop bad habits on your own. The class size isn't bad, capped at 12 riders which leaves plenty of room and time for personal instruction as well as riding exercises. My only complaint is the early hour that the class starts at, but that's necessary in order to get a full day of education in."
